Once you can view the display properties, the first tab that you will see will be the Background tab. This tab is always shown first by windows default. At the bottom a smaller box appears with the title Wallpaper. All the wallpapers that are saved in your windows directory that are in BMP (Bitmap) format appear here.
If you have saved your wallpaper files elsewhere, you can click on the browse button and choose that file only if it is in BMP format. If your wallpaper is in GIF or JPG format, you may want to convert those files and choose them from the display properties, or just open the image file in any browser and choose "Set as Wallpaper" from the right click menu as we have shown in one of the previous tutorials.
After you choose your wallpaper from the properties box, simply click Apply and then the OK button and you are done.
