It's easy enough to add custom emoticons to MSN Messenger. You simply click the cute little icons you friends have used, click 'Add' and there it is. But how in the world do you delete custom emoticons after they begin to annoy you? That's a little more involved since there no such menu in the options. To remove an emoticon, open a new chat window, click on the yellow smiley icon below and in the mini window that pops up, right next to "Your emoticons", you will find a "Show all" link. Once you've clicked on that, scroll down to custom emoticons on the list, highlight the one you want to delete and simply click "Remove". That's it. Now you have removed the emoticon once and for all.
