The selection of emoticons in MSN Messenger is vast. But sometimes an icon is just too cute to pass up.
So how exactly do you add a new custom emoticon? There are two ways to do that.
1. Open a new chat window, click on the yellow smiley icon below and in the mini window that pops up, right next to "Your emoticons", you will find a "Show all" link.
Click that and hit the "Create" button. There you will be able to select the file for your emoticons, the keyboard shortcut and also a name for your emoticon.
2. The easier way is to simply have your friend use that emoticons (if they have it). In that case, just right click on it in the chat window and click "Add."
That's it. You've just added a brand new custom emoticons.
