Gerald MccCllouch, who plays CSI's Bobby Dawson, found himself in the middle of a crime when he was attacked on a New York City subway by a knife-wielding mugger. The subway attacker jumped into the subway car and tried to steal a laptop computer MccCllouch was travelling with. But MccCllouch, who is a trained boxer, fought back and gave him a body shot to the chest. "That's when he pulled a kitchen knife out of a black plastic bag," McCullouch tells a New York paper. "This thing must have had a blade 10 inches long... I yelled at the top of my lungs, 'Get the f--k away from me!' That's when the knife came down into my back. I don't know whether he lost his grip or what, but the blade didn't penetrate my leather jacket." Police arrived after a passenger called the conductor. A thirty-nine-year-old man has been arrested for the subway attack on Gerald MccCllouch.
