Communicator 4.7 is the latest release from Netscape. In addition to the Netscape Navigator browser, Communicator includes a complete set of tools for effective everyday communication. Features include Smart Browsing, integrated mail and news interface, pinpoint addressing, and a scalable address book. It also offers improved handling of POP mail, the ability to download newsgroup articles for offline use, and a "Quotes Anywhere" feature that allows you to access stock quotes via your Netcenter portfolio. Version 4.7 offers improved handling of POP mail, the ability to download newsgroup articles for offline use, fully operational roaming support, and a "Quotes Anywhere" feature that allows you to access stock quotes via your Netcenter portfolio. This "complete install" includes Navigator, Messenger, Composer, AOL Instant Messenger, RealPlayer G2, WinAMP, PalmPilot Synchronizing utilities, and multimedia plug-ins.

ViruSafe Web is one of the most useful utilities you can download for free. It supports Internet Explorer, Netscape, WebSurfer and America Online. The program activates when you download a file from your browser, when the download is complete, it performs a scan of the file and prompts you for a final download destination. However, if it detects a virus then you will be prompted to delete the file. Scans can be done on programs, .Zip files and Word documents.

COA32 (Change of Address/32) is a 32-bit Windows version of the popular PC Magazine utility COA. COA32, which runs under Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51 or higher, lets you change the drive or directory of a Windows program without having to reinstall the program. It works by searching for all references to the old path and updating them to reflect the new path.
