If you are receiving a PDP authentication failure on the IPhone 3G, below are a number of tips we received to fix the PDP problem. Disclaimer: These are not recommended or suggested by AT&T or Apple, so please try any of them at your own risk. - Remove the SIM card from iPhone 3G, turn off the phone, reboot, then reinsert the sim card and wait a few seconds. - Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings on your phone to reset the network setting on the iPhone. AT&T says the PDP authentication failure is happening sporadically across the US and you cannot access web/email. If the fixes don't work, we recommend calling AT&T customer service.
