The game combines arcade-style action with the mental challenge of a puzzle game. It can be played in the solo or team Round Game where a single player, or two players working as a team, race against time and the lowering ceiling to survive as many rounds as they can. There are over 100 all-new Round game levels to keep you addicted. As always, up to four players can battle it out over the internet.

If you don't know what Tetris is, where have you been? Throughout the game, pieces fall to the bottom of the playing area. When the pieces form a solid row of blocks, that row vanishes. Because this is the only way to remove blocks, you should try to form solid rows whenever possible. The game ends when the pieces stack up to the top of the playing area. You can manipulate a piece when it is falling to be rotated, moved horizontally, or immediately dropped to the bottom of the playing area. A couple of things missing in this game is background music, and the ability to speed up the fall of the block, instead of directly dropping it.

There are block walls that can't be moved and locked gates that can only be opened if Zeek finds the key. There are boulders to push out of the way, flowers that eat Geeks, bombs that blow up the flowers, crystals that disintegrate when pushed together, and many other things that may help or hinder Zeek in getting to the mushrooms. The player must figure out how to use or avoid the things he finds to get through each level.
