It can split any file in to smaller pieces and it provides a way to combine the pieces to get the original file back. This is useful for transferring large files to another computer via disks, e-mail, or whenever there's a size limitation. When a file is split, a batch (.bat) file is also generated to combine the pieces. There are three ways you can split a file with SplitIt 95 - span to disk, preset split size, or specified split size.
